24VOLT TO 12VOLT CONVERTER (part # CONVERTER)

Fitting car alarms or immobilisers to +24Volt vehicles requires extra precautions. The power supply must be be dropped from +24 to +12Volts.

The Dynamco CONVERTER delivers +12V @ 1AMP continuous, and up to 2.2amps for a short time. Ideal for supplying power to the main module and siren (where fitted) of our P145, P165, P205, P275, P355, P375, P385, P755, P775 & P785.

In addition, the CONVERTER kit comes with a 1K resistor to drop the ignition signal and a 1N4004 power diode to stop +24volts back feed from the door circuit.
