NOSTART-001
This revolutionary immobiliser system uses "intelligent relays" that replace some of the vehicles normal relays. For example relays controlling the starter motor, the fuel pump or the fuel injection, just to name a few.
No wire connections to the immobilisation points are required because communication is by the superposition of digitally coded signals on the vehicle’s wiring. The sophisticated microelectronics in the relay picks up these small pulses, decodes and verifies them before allowing the relay to close or activate. The device that provides the injection of the unique code is, in the NOSTART-001, is simply a small plug that is inserted and removed from the cigarette lighter socket. No wiring is necessary and the number of immobilisation points depends on the number of relay replacements that are made.
This system has a number of significant advantages over older systems.
No installation required, therefore much reduced labour costs.
No wires have to be cut. This removes probably the single most significant cause of unreliable operation, poor connections.
The lack of tampering with the vehicle’s wiring also eliminates the vehicle manufacturers nightmare of installers cutting and joining critical wiring in their vehicles.
High security as there is no immobiliser control unit with immobilisation wires leading to the immobilisation points.
