TURBO TIMER MODIFICATION CHIPS

Vehicles fitted with turbo timers allow the engine to run while the ignition switch is turned off (in an effort to allow the turbo charger cool down after use). Turbo timers have variable time setting e.g. 30 seconds, 1 minutes, 3 minutes, 5 minutes. If a normal installation is carried out, the immobiliser will begin it's auto-arming countdown from the time the ignition switch is turned off. Thus immobilising the engine 39 seconds later regardless of what the turbo timer is doing.

By moving the ignition sense to the output of the turbo timer, the immobiliser will arm 39 seconds after the turbo timer cuts out. The vehicle's central locking can be activated by remote control when the engine is still running, giving the user the illusion of having armed the system, however they have only locked the doors. 39 seconds afterwards the immobiliser will arm as usual, but the alarm will still remain disarmed.

The P350 turbo timer controller allows the user to lock the doors by remote while the turbo timer is still active. Then arm the immobiliser and alarm 7 seconds after the turbo timer has cut out.
